Our 7th stay here and fab as always. Great home from home with the family. Grandkids enjoyed the garden. Great walks along the coast path. Looking forward to next year! Dorn Family, Sept 25

Another wonderful week all together in this very spacious place and superb house. The latest grandson had his first experience with Stiffkey mud and loved it, along with all the others. Thank you for this wonderful place. Libby B Aug 25

We've had a fabulous week with excellent weather. Enjoyed the location and the peace - it was great to watch the wildlife and military planes. Pleasant walks on Cley salt marshes and at Holt Country Park. Felt like luxury with the bedding and towels. Bridges Family, June 25

We had a very enjoyable holiday 20 - 27 June. Hawthorns was an ideal location, a pleasant stroll to the Stiffkey stores and play area or to the Salt Marshes. There were numerous places to visit and things to do in the area (many were accessible with my son in his wheelchair). Lovely peaceful setting with comfortable beds, high quality bedding, towels and extensive kitchen equipment. Hawthorns provided us with everything we needed to make our holiday a memorable one. We hope to return in the future. Kim B Jun 25

Hawthorns is a wonderful holiday home in a magical location on the edge of the village of Stiffkey. The house is spacious and comfortable with everything you need to create a home from home. A large garden with open views over fields is perfect for morning cups of tea, evening meals on the patio and walking either onto the coastal path or into the village. The hosts are great at communicating throughout and super responsive. This was our second stay and we can't wait to book another visit soon. Thank you Hawthorns! Jessica R Jul 24

Hawthorns must be one of the best North Norfolk locations for a family holiday! Turn left out of the garden gate down a grass track through the trees to the marshes, turn right out of the gate to a play area and on to the village stores for ice creams! On wet days the spare living room upstairs is a great place to set up a toy train track. No need to get in the car with the pub only a fifteen minute walk! Very well equipped home and lovely and light. Tim C Aug 24

Just had a family get together with 7 adults and 2 children at this lovely spacious place. Highly recommended, everything you need, very clean and loads of room. Well kitted out and fabulous location to explore the Norfolk coast. Lots of board games, beautiful large rooms and 3 bathrooms. Ideal for dogs and a very short walk to the salt Marsh which is more or less on the doorstep. Will definitely return when we can all get together again. Wonderful place, very peaceful location. Loved watching flocks of geese flying over and hearing the early morning chorus of lots of birds. Lovely walks. Julie P Mar 22

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Hawthorns. The position is so peaceful and within a minutes walk to the salt marshes. We used the Coast Hopper bus several time to visit Cromer and to bring us back to the village from walks to Blakeney and Wells. You will find a very comfortable house with a well equipped kitchen. The second lounge is a real bonus. Thank you Rosie for being so caring about our specific needs. We will be back! Alison C Feb 22

A first-class cottage. It's really well-designed for a group of 5-8 people, with spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large and well-equipped kitchen, and two lounge/sitting areas. It's located on the edge of a large field and there's really no one to the east all the way to Marston, so it's a very peaceful setting. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and our stay was superbly relaxing. It's truly one of the gems of the Norfolk coast. Brad B, Norwich Dec 20

Hawthorns is a Top Rate house in a stunning location. We walked for miles, straight from the garden and the 2 labradors were in heaven. We will definitely be going back again and we would award 6 stars if we could. Simply magical. Geoff C, Herefordshire Oct 20

This was our second stay at The Hawthorns, we love this place. The location is perfect just a couple of minutes walk from the salt marshes and then miles of beautiful sandy beaches. The house is light, spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. You have a good pub in the village and Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham & Blakeney within walking distance along the coastal path or a short drive. What’s not to like. Sue A, Essex Aug 20

This place far exceeded our expectations. It's a wonderful home. So much space and beautifully decorated. Has everything you could need. The location is amazing - 1 minute to the salt marshes, 5 mins to a great pub, and ten minutes in the car to Wells Next the Sea (or 30 mins on a bike). We loved it. Will definitely return. I highly recommend this place! Dani L, London Jul 20
